Why do you enjoy being an agent?
As a former teacher, I believe it is imperative to educate my clients on the process of selling and/or buying so they understand the “how” & “why” of each step. I have found this proactive approach sets everyone up for success & creates an enjoyable experience because my clients have a clear understanding of the whole process before it happens.
I love to advocate for my clients. Whether that is negotiating an initial offer for acceptance or throughout the contract, referring the best attorneys, inspectors, etc. for them to use, I do everything in their best interest. I keep them in constant communication so they understand everything as it is happening.
I love to celebrate my clients’ success! I thoroughly enjoy seeing everyone so happy on closing day & knowing I did everything I could to make their journey as positive as it could be. I will always show up with a bottle of Champagne!
What can you tell us about you?
Before obtaining my real estate license in 2015, I was a special education teacher & focused mainly on children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology & a Master’s Degree in Inclusive Education, both from Nazareth College. I continue to advocate for children & their families with special needs.
I’m from Syracuse & grew up on a dairy farm. I moved to Rochester for college & live in Pittsford with my husband & two beautiful children. I love to watch them play sports & we love to travel to new cities & countries. I am incredibly proud of who my children are & who they are growing to be. My greatest achievement is & will be their happiness & success. In my spare time, I love spending time with friends, & really enjoy working out & playing tennis.
What sets you and your business apart from other agents?
Creating trusting relationships is very important to me. I think having the innate desire to help others has led me to deliver genuine real estate guidance. I love creating a strategic action plan for my clients & having them understand not only my role in the transaction, but also the bigger picture of the market & different variables that come into play. I remind them that this is their journey, & I am here to educate & advocate for them as part of a long-term relationship.
